Luke Clapp - Associate Luke Clapp is an associate attorney with Protection Law Group. Mr. Clapp works exclusively for employees on a broad range of employment matters including class action litigation involving missed meal breaks, rest breaks, unpaid wages, unpaid overtime, and employee misclassification.  Mr. Clapp has extensive experience in class action litigation up to and through class certification. Mr. Clapp has successfully drafted and argued discovery motions, motions for summary judgment, and motions for preliminary and final approval of class action settlements. Mr. Clapp has successfully taken and defended a wide range of depositions.  Mr. Clapp attended law school at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and was a managing editor of the Indiana Law Journal. Mr. Clapp also served as treasurer of Indiana chapter of Phi Delta Phi, a national scholastic legal honors society. While in law school, Mr. Clapp served as an intern with the Indiana Attorney General’s office, where he was responsible for drafting appellate briefs on behalf of the State. Mr. Clapp also conducted an internship with the Honorable Beverly Reid-O’Connell of the United States District Court of the Central District of California. This experience exposed Mr. Clapp to a wide range of federal law including federal employment law and class action litigation.  Mr. Clapp received his undergraduate degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.  When Mr. Clapp is not working he enjoys biking, hiking, and camping throughout California.
